About me
I am a researcher with a unique blend of expertise in actuarial science, medicine, and public health. My career has spanned clinical practice, healthcare research, independent consulting in economics and finance, and software development. This diverse background equips me with a distinct perspective at the intersection of healthcare, economics, and technology.
I currently hold two academic positions:
Senior researcher at the University of Cape Town, where the main focus of my work is mathematical modelling for the International epidemiology Databases to Evaluate AIDS (IeDEA) Collaboration and the HIV Modelling Consortium based at University College London.
Clinical PhD Fellow in the Fogarty HIV-associated Tuberculosis Training Programme. My PhD research investigates how addressing antiretroviral therapy interruptions can help reduce the burden of TB disease.
